Liquid Facelift in Baltimore, MD

Dermal fillers have become some of the most popular cosmetic treatments. They produce excellent results and require little to no downtime. By using a combination of dermal fillers, Dr. Steven J. Rottman, a double board-certified and fellowship-trained plastic surgeon, can help you achieve a more youthful, fresh appearance.

When a liquid facelift is performed skillfully, facial rejuvenation can be achieved without surgery. Our “liquid facelift” has become a sought-after treatment for both men and women. Who doesn’t want to look younger – without surgery?

What Is a Liquid Facelift?

A “liquid facelift” is performed with various facial fillers, also called dermal or soft tissue fillers, often in conjunction with BOTOX® or Dysport® injections. A liquid facelift is gaining tremendous popularity, as many people want to restore youthful fullness to the face without surgery or downtime.

Facial fillers can temporarily plump the lips, enhance the cheeks, and soften facial creases, while BOTOX® and Dysport® work to reduce the appearance of wrinkles on the forehead, frown lines, and crow’s feet.

Benefits of a Liquid Facelift

The most significant benefit of a liquid facelift is that there is no need to undergo surgery to look and feel younger. The dermal fillers Dr. Rottman uses for liquid facelifts are all FDA approved, safe and effective. If you are considering facial surgery, a viable option may be a liquid facelift as the first step to provide a real-world concept of what a surgical facelift can produce.

Various dermal fillers are used to produce the most attractive result.

Every treatment is uniquely customized, and may include specially-designed formulas to achieve facial rejuvenation, including:

How Is a Liquid Facelift Performed?

A liquid facelift at Rottman Plastic Surgery is a combination treatment that includes dermal fillers and neuromodulaters. Dr. Rottman carefully selects the correct injectables that will restore a smoother, more youthful appearance to your face. These treatments are injected into the various layers of your skin will very fine needles.

Most patients are comfortable experiencing the treatment as we always use topical anesthesia. You will need several injections to complete the liquid facelift. The entire treatment takes less than a half hour. This procedure is often called a “lunchtime lift.”

Preparing for a Liquid Facelift

The dermal fillers and injectables used for a liquid facelift require no specific preparation. Your appointment takes less than 30 minutes and can fit easily into your busy day. It is best to avoid NSAIDs and Aspirin containing products prior to the procedure to minimize potential bruising.

Recovery from a Liquid Facelift

Some patients experience minor symptoms following a liquid facelift. Symptoms such as tenderness, swelling, and bruising are localized to the injection sites and last for one to two days for most people. Generally, you can expect to return to your normal activities without concerns.

How Much Does a Liquid Facelift Cost?

A liquid facelift is tailored to the needs of each patient and will require different quantities of the various fillers and injectables used in the procedure. The cost will be based upon the injectables and dermal fillers used, as well as the amount of product. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards, as well as CareCredit® and Alphaeon Credit®.
