Emily L. is Dr. Rottman’s Clinical Assistant. She is from Bethesda, MD and earned a degree from the University of Maryland. Emily’s vast knowledge of pre and post-operative patient care, as well as cosmetic injectables, allows her to ensure that all patients achieve optimal aesthetic results. Her caring attention will help you have a great experience in our office. Emily’s will be the smiling energetic face you are greeted with upon arrival.
Emily B. is Dr. Rottman’s Patient Coordinator. She oversees patient scheduling, medical compliance, and insurance billing. She is responsible for preoperative authorization and postoperative payment from insurance companies. She spent many years in this role for Lifebridge Health and brings valuable experience to Dr. Rottman’s practice..
Brooke is the Practice Administrator for Dr. Rottman. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Miami and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Loyola University in Maryland. She helps educate patients regarding both their surgical and non-surgical options. She always ensures all of our patients are well informed and taken care of.
Elizabeth Dovec, MD
Elizabeth A. Dovec, MD, FACS joined GBMC's Comprehensive Obesity Management (COMP) Program in 2013 from Vanderbilt University's Advanced Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery Fellowship Program. She rose internally to become the Medical Director of COMP. A Board Certified General Surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, she completed her residency at Allegheny General Hospital and earned her medical degree at Marshall University. Active in multiple professional societies, including the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), Dr. Dovec remains committed to educating, improving, and expanding on the field of weight loss surgery. She has presented at numerous regional, national, and international conferences and authored abstracts, peer-reviewed pulications, and a laparoscopic gastric bypass operative technique book chapter. She has performed over 2,500 bariatric surgeries at GBMC with exceptional results.
Dr. Steven J. Rottman is a cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery expert who serves the men and women of Baltimore and surrounding areas. Dr. Rottman is recognized for his approach to plastic and reconstructive surgery that gives his patients exceptional natural-looking results.
